Can my Condition be Treated with Invisalign?

braces. In the very rare occasion that a patient is not a good candidate for Invisalign we will refer the patient to an orthodontist for an alternate treatment.

How does it work?

First, you will come into our office for a complimentary initial consultation where we will assess if you are good candidate for Invisalign. Next you will return to our office for us to take impressions and photographs of your teeth. From there Dr. Rhodes will decide on a treatment plan and send the impressions off to Align Technology to create your custom series of aligners. The aligners are made of smooth, BPA-free plastic and won’t bother your sensitive oral tissue as metal brackets and wires tend to do when your first get braces.

Once the aligners come in you will wear each set for approximately two weeks before switching to the next series of aligners. Each week your teeth your teeth will become straighter, millimeter by millimeter. You should wear the aligners every day and only remove them when eating, or brushing and flossing your teeth.
